Inhumans in Pre-History: Tuk, Cave Boy, and Thor 146 - 147
Before we get into the good stuff, into those early Fantastic Four issues that set fandom ablaze, we have to have a look back at the earliest instance of the Inhumans, both in 616-time and in print order. The fine example of man-beast love above shows the first instance of anything Inhuman being mentioned, and the first instance of an Inhuman tenderly embracing a fuzzy rhino, and it comes from waaaay back in Captain America Comics #1, the first Kirby/Lee collaboration of any type.
Between this and a couple of side stories from the back of Thor's comic, you should know the hidden roots of Inhuman origin, and get a glimpse of their complex and storied history.

An Introduction to the Inhumans: Welcome!
This blog has been a long time coming. I've wanted to chronicle the exploits of my favorite comic book characters, the Inhumans, for a long time, both for my own benefit, and for those new to the characters. For myself, it allows me to revisit some of my favorite Marvel stories from many artists, as well as refresh my memory on what has become a very complex and oft-changed history. For those new to the Inhumans, hopefully I can answer questions, bring new insights, or maybe even just introduce them outright to the characters.
This comes at a good time, as Marvel has been greatly increasing the presence of the Inhumans in the Marvel universe due to the worst kept corporate secret in the world, and the feature film, which will be upon us in a few short years.
With that, let's begin. The first thing will be a brief introduction to the main cast, the Inhuman Royal Family. Once that's out of the way, we can begin looking at the history of this long-secret society, and then those first adventures, where the first family and the city of Attilan were established by Kirby and Lee so long ago.

Reposting: A Blast From the Past, and the Cyclical Nature of the World
Before I almost immediately create the first new content for this page, I thought I would first reprint an archived article from my previous blog.
This is the third time this article has been posted, but it remains no less pertinent to both Dr. Strange and The Inhumans, even six years later. I've gotten lots of kudos on this thing over time from fan pages, and its my dearest wish that sometime down the line, some contemporary Marvel artist might stumble across it in their bored internet wanderings, and find some valuable insight.
In the meantime, have a look back at the Marvel Universe of 2009, at the hurdles facing these two unique comic creations, and the hurdles their creative teams have to overcome.
